BACKGROUND Investor Network on Climate Risk (INCR) is a project of Ceres - the Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies. CERES was founded after the Exxon Valdez oil spill, and its initial corporate pledges on the environment were "the Valdez Principles," which later become the Ceres Principles and, most recently, the United Nations Global Reporting Initiative.
