Breaking News: Semi-annual Changes to the NASDAQ OMX CRD Global Sustainability Index

The Governance & Accountability Institute Would Like To Call Your Attention To Its Long Term Strategic Partner - CRD Analytics And The Semi-Annual Re-Balancing Of The NASDAQ CRD Global Sustainability Index, Effective May 18, 2015.

New York, NY, May 18, 2015 — The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ), and CRD Analytics today announced the results of the semi-annual re-ranking of the NASDAQ OMX CRD Global Sustainability Index (NASDAQ:QCRD), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, May 18, 2015.

The following nine securities will be added to the Index: Adobe Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE), Autodesk Inc. (NASDAQ:ADSK), Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB), Consolidated Edison Inc. (NYSE:ED), DIRECTV (NASDAQ:DTV), FedEx Corp. (NYSE:FDX), NRG Energy Inc. (NYSE:NRG), Tesla Motors Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA), Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ).

The NASDAQ OMX CRD Global Sustainability Index (NASDAQ:QCRD) is an equally weighted equity index that serves as a benchmark for stocks of companies that are taking a leadership role in sustainability performance reporting and are traded on a major US stock exchange. The Index is made up of companies that have taken a leadership role in disclosing their carbon footprint, energy usage, water consumption, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, employee safety, workforce diversity, management composition and community investing. These are companies that are voluntarily disclosing their current environmental, social and governance risks as well as their revenue opportunities and how it will affect future performance according to the Global Reporting Initiative G3.1/G4 Guidelines.  The securities must also meet other eligibility criteria which include minimum requirements for market value, average daily share volume, and price. As a result of the re-ranking, the following nine securities will be removed from the Index: Hess Corp. (NYSE:HES), Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE:XOM), Royal Dutch Shell (NYSE:RDS.A), Statoil ASA (NYSE:STO), ENI (NYSE:E), Rio Tinto PLC (NYSE:RIO), ValeSA (NYSE:VALE), NetApp Inc. (NASDAQ:NTAP), Petroleo Brasileiro SA Petrobras (NYSE:PBR).
