Emma Haynes

Emma Haynes is a graduate student at Columbia University pursuing her Master's in Sustainability Management. A recent graduate from Binghamton University, Emma earned her BA in Environmental Studies concentrating in Public Policy. 

Her interest in the environment led her to become involved with food sustainability initiatives at Binghamton, spreading awareness of the importance of supporting local agriculture and plant-based diets. She then interned with the US EPA, developing an understanding of government involvement in environmental regulation and practicing her GIS skills. 

Emma hopes to use these passions and experiences to pursue a career in sustainability consulting after graduate school. Since completing her internship, Emma was asked to extend her internship for another term and was promoted to G&A Intern Team Leader, supervising and training incoming interns.
