Neva Modric

Neva Modric is a Sustainability Analyst at Governance & Accountability Institute. Her role includes conducting research to support client engagements, assisting with double materiality assessments, developing sustainability reports, analyzing ESG data, and providing general sustainability consulting. She is passionate about helping companies drive positive, sustainable impact that benefits both people and the environment.

Neva holds a STEM-accredited Master of Science in Environment and Sustainability Management from Georgetown University, where she was part of the inaugural cohort of this graduate program. For her capstone project, she collaborated with Starbucks to research and propose alternatives to plastic for their single-use items. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science & Policy, with a focus on culture and the environment, from the University of Maryland, alongside a degree in French Studies.

Prior to joining G&A, Neva served as the first Sustainability Specialist at a manufacturing company. There, she helped conduct the company’s first greenhouse gas inventory, prepared a CSRD-compliant ESG report, oversaw the installation of EV charging infrastructure and a wind turbine at the company's facility, and developed a sustainability strategy.
