Christina Carlton is a Senior Sustainability and Climate Analyst at Governance & Accountability Institute, where she supports both sustainability and climate engagements. She advises clients on data analysis, peer benchmarking, sustainability disclosure development, climate risk assessments, and climate policy and strategy design. Her work bridges sustainability planning and reporting with targeted climate initiatives, helping companies enhance their ESG performance and integrate resilience into their overall sustainability frameworks.
Christina holds a Master of Science in Environmental Policy & Management from the University of Denver, along with a Graduate Certificate in Wilderness Management from the University of Montana. She brings a particular passion for biodiversity and natural resource conservation, and she is deeply committed to helping clients integrate biodiversity, conservation, and climate-risk considerations into their ESG disclosures as these issues become increasingly material.
Before joining G&A Institute, Christina served six years as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Air Force, followed by a role as an Environmental Protection Specialist at the Department of Veterans Affairs. With this background, she brings a strong foundation in policy development, risk analysis, and training, which helps her guide clients through complex sustainability and climate dynamics.
