Brianna Gutiérrez is a Sustainability Analyst at Governance & Accountability Institute. Her role includes supporting client needs through ESG data reviews, gap analyses, and competitive benchmarking research. Driven by an overall mission to contribute to a more environmentally and socially accountable society, Brianna enjoys helping clients use sustainability research as a management tool to improve operational efficiency and spark innovation.
Brianna holds a Master of Science from Utrecht University, where she specialized in Earth System Governance and Environmental Policy. With support from the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, a leading research institution in the Netherlands, Brianna’s thesis explored the positive impacts urban community gardens have on New York City’s agri-food landscape. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she studied International Relations, Environmental Studies and Global Health.
Before joining G&A Institute, Brianna worked internationally in Argentina, Spain, and the Netherlands. Most recently, she worked as a Project Manager and Grant Writer for an environmental non-profit in Westchester, New York. During her time there she enjoyed overseeing various habitat restoration projects and developing the organization’s environmental science curricula. Brianna remains passionate about supporting local stewardship efforts and environmental justice campaigns.
