Ashley Clemens is a Senior Sustainability Analyst at Governance & Accountability Institute. Her role includes supporting client needs through ESG data reviews, gap analyses, and competitive benchmarking research. She is passionate about equitable sustainability and the role corporations can play in creating a positive impact on society. She enjoys helping clients across various industries implement ESG practices.
Ashley holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Business, STEM credentialed, from the University of Miami Herbert Business School. For her master's capstone project, she helped to produce a greenhouse gas assessment and sustainability plan for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the fourth largest school district in the U.S. During her time at Miami, Ashley was also a student finalist in the ArcGIS Story Map competition for the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Her story, Transforming Baltimore: Segregation to Sustainability discussed the lasting environmental impacts of segregation, and how one of the most segregated cities in America is using an equity lens to tackle urban sustainability. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Tampa where she studied Biology, with a concentration in pre-medicine.
Before joining G&A Institute, Ashley worked as a Sustainability Analyst for an ESG software startup where she focused on client education, creating client resources, writing blog posts, and running the company's social media.
Senior Sustainability Analyst
