Pam Styles

Pam Styles is principal and founder of Next Level Investor Relations LLC. She is a senior Investor Relations and Corporate Communications practitioner with 25 years of corporate experience and a background in finance and strategy. In addition to traditional IR/CC consulting, she actively consults and writes on the rapidly evolving field of ESG/Sustainability, as applicable to Investor Relations.

Prior to establishing her consulting practice, Pam was previously head of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, and member of the executive team, at Crane Co. (NYSE: CR), an aerospace, electronics and industrial manufacturing supplier. She also served as Director of Investor Relations for Starwood Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: HOT) and RJR Nabisco (NYSE: RN), where she facilitated establishment of post-merger (Starwood/ITT) and post-IPO (Nabisco – NYSE: NA) investor relations department functions and initial analyst coverage. She also worked for Continental Bank and FMC Corporation in positions, including audit, operational finance, capital investment analysis, financial and strategic planning.

Over the years, Pam has been instrumental in the development of multiple investor relations functions, including mergers, pre and post-IPO. She has managed company investor relations communications through various strategies, both offensive and defensive, and through crises communications situations including: proxy fights, tobacco and asbestos-related liability, settlement and government actions, and potentially catastrophic product failures.  With the emergence of mainstream institutional attention to ESG factors in investment decision-making, she has been increasingly called to advise client companies on developing appropriate Sustainability communications and strategic inclusion in their Investor Relations programs.  Pam has extensive experience in diverse industries, including lodging and leisure, aerospace and defense, electronics, food and tobacco, and general industrial manufacturing.  

Pam is a Fellow with the Governance and Accountability Institute and a long-standing member of the National Investor Relations Institute (“NIRI”) and the NIRI Senior Roundtable. She is also an active member in SRI-Connect and the international Independent SRI Consultants Network (ISCN). Pam serves on the board of the NIRI Capital Area chapter and previously served on the board of the NIRI Fairfield / Westchester chapter.

She holds an MBA in finance and strategy from the University of Chicago and a BMA from the University of Michigan.
