Minalee Busi is currently working with ClimateWorks Australia, a non-profit organisation under Monash University helping Australia transition to net-zero emissions by 2050. She also trained as a Climate Reality Leader in 2020. She has pursued her Master’s degree in Environment and Sustainability at Monash University, Melbourne, specializing in Corporate environmental and sustainability management. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication and has worked in the IT industry for two years. She believes grassroots changes by incorporating the concept of sustainability in corporate and business models can be one of the most effective strategies against the issues of sustainable development. She is keen on developing interdisciplinary solutions through technological innovations for a sustainable and equitable future. Her areas of interest include sustainability reporting and measurement, Zero Waste, Circular economy and the integration of AI and sustainability.
