Matthew Novak

Matthew Novak is a Detroit area native and graduate of Louisiana State University (LSU) with a degree in coastal environmental science. He currently works at Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) in Rockville, Maryland as an ESG Analyst.

His undergraduate research focused on coastal wetland restoration and after graduating, he worked for a local nature center and a municipal sustainability program. After moving to Washington, DC, he worked with G&A Institute, Inc. as a sustainability report analyst.

With his educational background in the coastal and environmental sciences and his experience working with local government agencies, he is now focusing on utilizing that background within the responsible and sustainable investment space.
