Madeline Blankenship is an MBA and Interdisciplinary Sustainability Certificate student at the University of Georgia (class of 2024). She earned a BA in Art History in 2015, also from the University of Georgia. Madeline worked primarily on the strategic philanthropy side of corporate social responsibility for five years before graduate school. She intends to continue her work in this field by moving into corporate sustainability strategy consulting.
Madeline's combined MBA and Interdisciplinary Sustainability coursework represents her interest in bringing people and ideas together to build common ground and solve collective challenges. She believes that developing the leadership capacity to bridge stakeholder communication gaps is essential to helping businesses be a force for good.
Madeline lives in Athens, GA, with her husband, two cats, and a dog. Passionate about community service and uplifting others through the arts, Madeline volunteers as a percussionist with the Athens Symphony Orchestra and Classic City Band. She also enjoys spending time in her garden learning about native plants and organic practices.
