Keerthana Ramasamy Thirugnana Sambantham

Keerthana Ramasamy Thirugnana Sambantham recently graduated from the University of Michigan – Dearborn with her Masters in Energy System Engineering with LEED Green Associate Credentials.  She is an ardent nature lover that motivated her to start a career in sustainability by pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering in 2011. Keerthana also has her Masters in Environmental Engineering and Management from India and that helped her to understand all the environmental related issues, policies, solutions for the potential environmental problems.

Keerthana has worked in diverse areas of sustainability like environmental toxicity research, water quality, emissions, waste management, energy efficiency, energy and environmental policies. She has always wanted to work towards creating a sustainable economy and that still drives her to mainly work in the ESG reports to understand how corporations work, measure and track towards their sustainability goals and standards.

Keerthana’s interests are in energy efficiency, environmental toxicology, sustainability reporting, circular economy, climate change, green buildings.
