Juliet Russell heads up Sustainability at Stella McCartney, a UK-based luxury fashion designer, where she oversees climate strategy, impact assessment, circularity, innovation investment and integration, sustainability-related policy and legislative changes, partnerships and social responsibility. Prior to this, Juliet gained experience at PANGAIA - a materials innovation company, and spent time working across smart cities, chemical compliance in fashion, ESG reporting for various industries and philanthropic work around biodiversity conservation. Throughout her career, Juliet has remained focused on making change that leads to measurable positive impact, and is driven by her passion and motivation to protect our world and natural resources across her personal and professional life. Juliet graduated from her Master’s Degree in Environmental Technology (specializing in Business and the Environment) at Imperial College London with distinction and before that, completed an Undergraduate in BSc Geography from University College London (UCL) with First Class Honors..

Juliet Russell graduated from University College London in June 2016 with First Class Honors in Geography (BSc). Whilst studying abroad at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Juliet focused her studies on business, the environment and climate change and achieved her place on the Dean’s list. Juliet plans to undertake an MSc in 2017 focusing on business, environment and sustainability. Her passions are in Corporate Social Responsibility and de-linking economic growth from environmental degradation.
