Reilly Sakai

Reilly Sakai is a Sustainability Analyst at Governance & Accountability Institute, supporting client work and various research projects such as “Flash Reports” and resource papers. She began her career at G&A as a Sustainability Report Analyst Intern in 2019, analyzing reports for inclusion in the GRI Sustainability Disclosure Database and providing research for reports such as G&A’s Analysis of the Business Roundtable Companies ESG Reporting Practices Resource Paper.

Reilly is currently in the last semester of her one-year focused MBA program in Fashion & Luxury at NYU Stern School of Business, where she is specializing in Sustainable Business & Innovation as well as Management of Technology & Operations.

At NYU, she is a member of the Social Impact and Sustainability Association and has had the opportunity to work with high profile clients on ESG-related projects. Currently (spring 2020), she is working with the Director of NYU’s Center for Sustainable Business on an independent study that explores environmental sustainability in apparel manufacturing.

She also holds a B.A. from NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she majored in Fashion & Business.

Still at the beginning of her career in the ESG-field, Reilly is excited to continue her studies and expand her knowledge of corporate sustainability practices. Through her G&A Institute work, she looks forward to providing research and recommendations to the firm’s clients as they adopt and/or enhance their respective e sustainability strategies and ESG policies.
