An Example of Enhanced Horizons Technologies Working in Synchronization

A Fortune 500 client was attempting to initiate a crisis management program through a network of more than 600 offices strategically located around the world.  Using our services and support, the client was able to assign and train one or more “emergency or crisis response managers” from each of the 600 locations via our Web-enabled training platform. 

Since the Enhanced Horizons Technologies services all work together, and at the same time, we were able to collect full contact information and detailed background information on all local crisis managers and their locations.  This information was used to incorporate Web 2.0 features, building a global intranet community where the emergency preparedness, response and crisis managers from around the world could discuss, and share resources and stories among the community, further enhancing the corporation’s program.  (And, helping to meet the increasingly stringent demands of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.)

The information collected was also used with our stakeholder relationship management software to communicate from the top down to all of the internal stakeholders within the client organization.  The senior and staff management team members (overseeing the emergency preparedness, crisis response and business continuity programs) are able to disseminate key ideas, topics, initiatives, and other information to all of the 600 site managers.  We use our software to track what messages were working and what messages were not, to further fine tune these initiatives.

Our intelligence gathering services automatically and manually pull in information from around the world on key topics for crisis managers, such as “bird flu,” “hurricane,” “earthquake,” “transportation interruption,” and many, many other reference points.  This information is distributed through our CMS to the local crisis managers each and every day.  When an issue arises that we want to keep on top of our combined systems allow us to have an intelligence feed up and operation on the site within minutes.
