Mark W. Sickles, Governance & Accountability Institute Fellow, to be speaker at Corporate Governance Conference in Dubai

Sickles, a recognized expert on the subject of global strategic governance, and a Fellow of the Governance & Accountability Institute, will be an international speaker at the Fourth Annual Corporate Governance  Congress in Dubai, February 28th through March 4th. The venue will be a high level conference dedicated to addressing the key issues and the challenges faced with establishing sound governance in the region and in-depth interactive workshops based on implementing new 2010 regulations in Dubai.

The new corporate governance law in the UAE – which will be in line with international best practices – will come into force in the near future. Guidelines will involve transparency and sustainability and will drive organizations to become globally efficient in today’s economic climate.

Those in attendance at the Congress will include senior level individuals within organizations committed to driving sound governance including: CEOs, Presidents, Chairmen, Board Members, CFOs, CSOs, COOs, Heads of Risk, Audit, Fraud, Anti-Money Laundering, Compliance, Internal Control, Supervision, Asset & Funds, Privatization and Accounting plus representatives from Stock Exchanges, Regulators, Lawyers and Shareholders.
